“I’m in the race for Alego Usonga constituency” William Oduol

Former Siaya county gubernatorial aspirant William Oduol Denge has confirmed his candidature for (Member of Parliament) Alego Usonga constituency in the 2022 general elections.

In an exclusive interview with Aowapress24, the businessman – cum- politician confirmed the widely shared romours about his interest in the position.

Mr. Denge who ran for the Siaya county governorship in 2013 and 2017 respectively is joining former MP Muluan Omondi, the incumbent Samuel Atandi and the current governor Cornell Rasanga among other politicians who are yet to clear the air on the forthcoming elections.

The current CEO of Gorilla Corporation did not come clear on which party he will be using. However, according to sources close to Mr. Denge, he will be battling for party ticket against those who will be vieying for the position on an ODM party ticket.

Oduol came second in a repeat election after ODM’s candidate Cornell Rasanga’s victory was nurlified by high court in Kisumu.

He came third in 2017 elections after Rasanga and former Rarieda MP Nicholas Gumbo.
