The decision to make an entry into politics he says was as a result of the hard life he went through as a teen considering he was coming from a poor family and had passion for transforming lives in his society.

“Being brought up in the ghetto hoods, the challenge was walking for a long distance to attend my primary classes and since I was from a poor family my parents were not able to buy me the basic but most important learning materials.” He said.

During the 2007 general elections when he felt and saw there is no sanity in the electoral body systems, he had to think as a hero to fight for the community, for their votes to count each and every time they go to the poll.
