Why Miguna Miguna canceled his interview on K24.

Deported lawyer Miguna Miguna on Sunday 28 June, cancelled his interview on K24 TV minutes after a change of program.

Miguna was to be hosted by Anne Kiguta on Punchline – a popular political show to discuss matters related to national politics.

The station changed the topic of discussion dubbed ‘Kenyas road ahead’ to ‘Waiguru’s impeachment’ inviting Ndegwa Njiru – legal counsel who represented the county assembly of Kirinyaga in impeachment hearings against Governor Anne Waiguru.

” I have cancelled my appearance after your last – minute attempt to dilute important national issues Anne Kiguta and I had agreed to discuss on Punchline” He posted pointing blame on Mutahi Ngunyi – A Kenya’s political analyst.

Mutahi Ngunyi had earlier posted on his Twitter account terming Miguna Miguna a pink soldier adding that the barrister -cum- lawyer was scared of the interview on Punchline.

Taking to his Facebook page, Miguna Miguna challenged Mutahi Ngunyi to stop hiding under Anne Waiguru’s skirt daring him to show up on Punchline.

Dr. Miguna Miguna distanced himself from discussing matters related to Kirinyaga Governor saying he is neither a countyzen or an MCA from Kirinyaga and was not ready to reduce national matters to Waiguru’s impeachment.

Dr. Miguna also linked the last minute change of program to President Kenyatta who owns the station.
