BREAKING: Waluke to stay behind bars for 7 years or pay Ksh. 594 million court rules.

Sirisia MP John Waluke was on Thursday 24 June sentenced to 7 years in jail or pay Ksh. 594 millions for defrauding National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB) ksh. 313 million.

Waluke was charged alongside Sarapay Wakhungu who also handed the same sentence.

The two through a company named Erad Supplies and General Contracts Limited where they were both stakeholders were to supply 40,000 metric tones of maize to NCPB in 2004 but instead ended up pocketing the stipulated amount of money without giving the supply.
